Walking Fit - Collingwood
WalkingFit was established in 2017 by two enthusiastic and experienced power walkers who want to share their passion with others for staying fit while having fun. Power walking is an alternative to running, offering a high cardio workout that puts less stress on joints, therefore reducing risk of injury. Power walking is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Power walking is a cost effective fitness regime. Power walking classes are coached by certified fitness trainers. Whether you are new to power walking or are a seasoned walker, WalkingFit has classes for you. WalkingFit offers strength training as well as 3 categories of power walking classes – Novice, Intermediate, and Specialist. These categories are designed to suit members’ abilities and interest but we encourage everyone to attend whatever classes suit their lifestyle. All of our classes are outside and offer a low impact cardio workout for all levels of fitness. Classes in Collingwood are offered Saturday 8:00 am. Meet in the parking lot behind Tim Hortons on First Street, Collingwood.
