Curries Farm Market

We’re the people who grow your food We think that food is more enjoyable when you can meet, and trust, the people who grow it. At Currie’s Farm Market, you’re likely to meet up with us each time you visit. Offering organic produce, pantry items and pies, dairy, meat, meals and more. Shop on-line, order by 3 p.m. for same day curb side pick-up or come in for socially distanced shopping at the store. Eat well. Be well. Delivery available. From seed Long before the snow has melted, hundreds of baby tomato, herb & pepper plants are putting down roots in our very own kitchen. Eventually they make their way over to the greenhouse where they are given a bit more room to grow. Then, after a few days of hardening off, they are planted in the field right around the same time the market opens for the season and the rest of our crops are planted directly into the soil. To field Growing corn, potatoes, asparagus, raspberries, peas, beans, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, squash, pumpkins, beets and garlic, makes for some pretty serious tractor time around here. A field blueprint is prepared each and every spring to ensure proper crop rotation and then fields are disked, cultivated and prepped for planting. To fork You’ll often spot Chris & our remarkable farm crew hard at work in the fields. From planting the seedlings, tying up tomatoes, and tearing it up (the ground, that is) on the hydraweeder to remove weeds and loosen up the soil around the plants, they really know how to play the field. When crops are ready for harvest, they hand pick the very best daily, which make the short trip over to the store so only the best tasting, most nutritious fruits & vegetables will end up on your plate.
