Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts (BMFA) presents #PARTWITHYOURART CHARITY ONLINE ART AUCTION

Art Submissions by July 25, Online Auction September 10, 2020

The Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts (BMFA) is hosting an online fundraiser - #PARTWITHYOURART - the first of its kind for the 45 year old arts organization.  Art submission is due by July 25th, 2020 with the actual auction happening online through Rockford Auction Centre of Owen Sound ( on September 10th, 2020.

“Like many organizations, we were very affected by COVID-19.  The majority of our programming had to be offered online or completely cancelled for this year.  Our fundraising events, art installations, shows and for a while, our gift shop were at a complete standstill.  We are fortunate that our gift shop at 65 Simcoe St in Collingwood has reopened with new hours and protocols to keep our clients, members and volunteers safe.  Unable to operate as we have in the past, we still have a commitment to support and encourage art and artists locally as a community arts foundation.  We knew that we had to do something different.  Creating this online art auction just felt right.” said Susan Cook, BMFA’s Manager.

The BMFA is looking to the community to #PartWithYourArt and either donate or sell art through the auction.  New or gently used high quality vintage 2D or 3D pieces including:  paintings, quality signed prints, sculpture, pottery, jewelry, carvings and fine woodwork will be considered.  New art submissions are open to current BMFA members and vintage art donations will be accepted from non-members as well.  For those who wish to donate their art, a charitable tax receipt will be provided based on the value of a current valuation or the final sale price.

For those interested in submitting artwork to #PartWithYourArt, contact Suzette Terry in person at BMFA (65 Simcoe St, Studio 4, Collingwood), via phone at 705-445-3430 or email at  Additional information can be found on BMFA’s website at
