This is a unique exhibit, which combines the creative energies of a student, Rob Penketh parent, Suzanne Jarvis and teacher Michelle Fleming from the Pretty River Academy. The students, parents and teachers at the Pretty River Academy work closely together, which is an integral part of the schools philosophy.

Rob is a grade 12 student and graduating this year from the Pretty River Academy. His paintings reflect his love of travel, particularly his studies of water, sky and light. Suzanne is experimental artist working in many different medians. In this exhibit she has papier-mâché animals, wood sculptures and abstract paintings of horses. Michelle Fleming has been head of the art department for the past eight years at Pretty River Academy. Her work reflects her love of the Georgian Bay landscape in the style of the impressionist painters.

This exhibit is a wonderful reflection of how we value each level of the school community; students, parents and teachers. Come out and enjoy this diversified and exciting exhibit.

This exhibit is on display at the Chautauqua Gallery, 203 Marsh Street in Clarksburg, tel 519.599.3846.
