Cabin Bistro has just opened in the new Cranberry Mews Plaza at
10 Keith Street (off Highway 26). Justin & Kathleen Miller have moved up here from Toronto to open their new venture. Justin was the former Sous Chef at the Toronto Hilton and the Chef du Cuisine at Tundra Restaurant, and his partner Kathleen was the Front House Manager at 360 Degrees at the top of the CN Tower. Heavenly Sweets Café is scheduled to open this week at 45 Pine Street. Owner Heli Vogrin says ‘there’s always room for dessert’ and is looking forward to the opening of her dessert café. Heli has been mastering the art of chocolate and decadent cookies since 1998. She opened her flagship store in the quaint village of Thornbury in 2008 and Heavenly Sweets is now available across Canada in the finest gourmet shops.
The Empire Grill and Gastropub in the Balsam Street Plaza is opening later this month and as the name suggests, you’ll be able to get a great steak!
