If you're thinking that this is now the shoulder season in the Georgian Triangle... you might be mistaken... sure the skiing is over (sniff sniff) and it will be a while before you decide to bask in the sunshine alongside our beautiful bay, so what else does this area offer anyway? Glad you asked. (Speaking of offer... make sure you scroll down and find out what Parrots n' Parsnips is offering... this is an amazing deal).

Don't forget to support your local Girl Guides and pick up a box of cookies. You can always work it off tomorrow. You can contact your local chapter at or visit the Honey House in Clarksburg... they have them at the front counter. For more information click here.

Now, get your running shoes, hip waders, dancing shoes or whatever shoes ready! Dust off your bike in the garage and head on over the Squire John's or Skiis and Bikes and get tuned up. Tune hmmm... if music and culture is your thing... we've got that covered too! Our Events and Activities calendars have never been more jam-packed with such a diverse cross section of exciting, educational and fun events and activities that appeal to all ages.

Thornbury Manor has a special menu for Jazzmania. Call now to book your seats 519.599.2217.

When was the last time you took your kids to see a live play... a live music performance... or even to the library (our libraries have so much more to offer than just books... but if you did go to the library... would your kids know how to find a book they might be looking for?). It's one of those things where the kids say... "no I don't want to go (because they just can't seem to get their faces out of Facebook... which is getting some pretty negative press lately)"... then you force them to go and after they admit that they really had a good time. Just a thought.

While you golfers out there are eagerly waiting for the courses to open up... remember that the Tom Jackson Golf Academy has a great indoor facility. The upcoming Skins game at Raven might motivate you to get an early start this year.
