Collingwood Cycling Club

The Collingwood Cycling Club was originally formed in 1981 and was re-established in 2012. Within two years the CCC is one of Ontario’s largest clubs. The mission of the Club is to bring create a structure of rides and events that promotes safe and courteous cycling while fostering the development of riders all ages and abilites. The CCC would also like to create a political voice for cyclists in the area and lobby for improved roads, bike lanes and safety. The CCC hopes to create of community of cyclists and local businesses who support an active, healthy lifestyle. Together, we can bring attention to all that makes Collingwood unique to cycling. Our hope is to grow together, socially, economically and as a dream destination for Ontario road cyclists.The CCC membership provides the following benefits: A wide variety of organized weekly group rides; Monthly out of town group rides; Spring and Fall Socials; Insurance for all members while on CCC rides; A high quality CCC cycling jersey at wholesale prices (free to the first 100 members); Promotions and discounts from a variety of sponsors and suppliers; A strong political voice on behalf of cyclists with regard to road safety and road widening; Invitation to a wide variety of future club events. Collingwood United Soccer Club

Georgian Bay Girls Hockey

The Georgian Bay Girls Hockey Association is a new all girls local league program, offering girls the opportunity to play local league hockey close to home. We offer programs for Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget age divisions. Our travel loop for weekend games is called the North Simcoe League, which includes Barrie, Orillia, Alliston, Midland and occasionally Huntsville. All mid week practices will be within the Collingwood/Thornbury area. This is an exciting opportunity for girls in our area to play the game of hockey, meet new friends, stay active and healthy and strive to become the best they can be!

The Collingwood Skating Club is a non-profit youth sports organization operating in the Eddie Bush Arena in Collingwood, Ontario. For over 60 years, the Club's Skate Canada certified coaches and programs have been encouraging the instruction, practice, enjoyment and advancement of our members in all aspects of skating. Programming is geared towards skaters of all ages and skill levels. Our environment helps young athletes to lead healthy active lifestyles, while promoting teamwork, independence, goal setting, community leadership, and fun. Every season, we strive to provide our skaters with opportunities for recognition and achievement in their sport and daily lives.

Collingwood Clippers Swim Club (CCSC)

Welcome to the Collingwood Clippers Swim Club (CCSC) celebrating 40 years this September 2015. The Clippers is a competitive, community based club whose purpose is to promote an interest in competitive swimming, to develop the fullest potential of the swimmer and to encourage good sportsmanship, enjoyment, self-discipline and team play. CCSC is a parent run, professionally coached swimming organization whose first commitment is to the needs of the swimmers. We provide an equal opportunity for boys and girls of all ages and abilities to be part of a competitive swimming team. The coaching staff offers a program in which the swimmer learns competitive stroke techniques and skills in an atmosphere that focuses on personal development, sportsmanship, teamwork a healthy level of physical fitness and a desire to achieve, all of which are skills that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. Collingwood Rowing Club

Collingwood Rowing Club is a recreational rowing club, open to adults of all ages and students Grade 7 and up, male and female. We provide Learn to Row programs for beginners. Upon completion rowers have access to open rowing, in a variety of rowing shells, 7 days a week, with 6.00am and 6.00pm rows weekdays and morning rows on Saturday and Sunday. Rowing takes place in Collingwood Harbour, from the Club’s compound at the foot of Birch St. The season runs from approx. late May to mid October.
