For three days, June 28, 29 and 30 Fleet-Wood Dancentre was an Exam Centre for Cecchetti ballet students from Collingwood, Thornbury, Nottawa, Barrie and Bracebridge.

The Exam candidates were fortunate to have Mr. Trevor McLain, pianist with The National Ballet School, act as accompanist. Mr. Glenn Gilmour, Fellow and Examiner with The Cecchetti Society of Canada remarked on how strong the Fleet-Wood students were.

Director Sharron Fleet worked with the students for a year to prepare them for these exams, and congratulates them for all their hard work. The Grade Two students are looking forward to next year when they receive their first pair of pointe shoes, and begin training on pointe.
