Alpine Canada and Alpine Ontario are kicking the ski season into high gear with our NEW fall Canadian Alpine Ski Team / Alpine Ontario fundraising event. This year it’s a Gold Rush, a highly interactive “Hollywood style” experience. We are moving away from the traditional banquet event and relocating to the chic Liberty Grand, Artifacts Room at Exhibition Place.
With a new venue and a fresh look and feel, the Canadian Alpine Ski Team Gold Rush will provide guests with an unforgettable awards show style experience.
There will be a number of interactive events, the highlight of which will be a high impact fashion show featuring the hottest trends for the ski season. There will be plenty of athlete interaction and a wealth of culinary delights to tempt even the most discerning of palates. There will also be a red carpet photo-op for all guests with some of Canada’s most accomplished ski racers including Olympians Kelly VanderBeek, Allison Forsyth, Erik Guay and World Junior Champion Stefan Guay.
This is a revival event that will take the Canadian Alpine Ski Team annual fall fundraiser to a new level. It is not to be missed!

Alpine Ontario Alpin (AOA) is the provincial governing body for the sport of alpine ski racing in Ontario which was officially created on July 1st 2001. This historic date marked the culmination of several years of hard work to join the four ski racing divisions of Ontario (Alpine Ontario South, North Ontario Division, National Capital Division, and Lake Superior Alpine Division).
As the recognized Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) & promoter of competitive alpine ski racing in Ontario, AOA represents its 4 divisions, 55 member clubs and over 12,000 active athletes, coaches and officials. AOA coordinates several successful programs across the province and continues to foster the development of "state of the art" ski-racing programs from the grass roots level to elite level.
In addition to the successful development programs, AOA's main property is the Ontario Alpine Provincial Ski Team (OAST). Both the men and women team's travel throughout North America and Europe racing in elite ski races. Each athlete is looking to take the next step towards their Olympic or World Cup circuit dream.
