If you love authentic Italian food at reasonable prices, then it's time to come to Westside After 5. Known originally as a classy breakfast joint in the Cranberry Mews, owners Jay and Joanne Lapetina decided recently to take advantage of the restaurant space that they already have and with a little magic at 5pm each day, the restaurants space turns into a romantic Italian Restaurant.
With Chef Adele at the helm in the kitchen you're in for a culinary treat. Adele has recently moved to Collingwood and is serving up traditional Italian fare. Her cooking style is truly Italian, as she received her culinary training in where she grew up in Calabria, Italy.
One of her favourite things is the open kitchen concept of the West Side After 5 - "It lets me keep an eye on our guests to ensure that they are really enjoying their dining experience and that way, I feel more connected with them."
Her favourite thing to cook in the kitchen is definitely Pasta and she loves the Rigatoni all Vodka on the menu that she designed together with the owners.

When we dined at the Westside After 5, we enjoyed a delicious bottle of Chianti, followed by some warm bread with a balsamic reduction drizzle and warm olives (this was brought to the table at no extra charge - how nice is that?), Bruchetta for two, Stracciatella soup, Veal Bocconcini and Seafood Pasta. We finished off with a delicious dessert and cappuccino.
We highly recommend the Westside After 5 and hope you enjoy your visit too.
