D-Camps is the only camp for children & youth with type 1 diabetes. At D-Camps with careful guidance of camp & medical staff children are empowered to self-manage diabetes in a supportive, nurturing environment. Many children don’t know anyone else also living with type 1. D-Camps provides children with an opportunity to meet other kids living with type 1 and this increases their self-esteem, creates lifelong connections and helps them to live healthier lives.
