A one-woman play plus some local children will bring the beloved classic “The Velveteen Rabbit’ to life on stage at Meaford Hall this Thursday March 17 at 2pm.  This beautiful tale by Margery Williams is a modern children’s classic in which a stuffed toy rabbit learns what it means to be REAL.

This splendid dramatic adaptation portrays a young child’s world of special toys.  “When a child loves you for a long time, not just to play with you but really loves you then you become REAL’,  explains the Skin Horse in this story.

Local children have signed up to participate in the production and actress Katherine Popham will bring the heart-warming and lively play to life. This is a wonderful opportunity to expose younger children to the magic and wonder of live theatre.  This March Break, create childhood memories for the little ones in your life and bring them to Meaford Hall.

For tickets call Meaford Hall 519 538 0463 or visit our website. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for children.
