Home Horizon is pleased to announce their next fundraising special event to be held in Collingwood on Sat., Nov. 7. Over 200 people will board 4 buses and tour local area breweries and a hops farm, all to support Home Horizon, a not- for-profit organization that transforms the lives of homeless women and children through support, counselling and housing in the Georgian Triangle. The fun begins at 4 pm as guests meet at Cranberry's Bear Estate, 300 Balsam St. to board a bus which will make various stops including SideLaunch Brewery, Collingwood Brewery & Clear Valley Hops Farm. Each brewery will be serving samples of their finest brews and sharing the spotlight with various special guests such as Creemore Springs, McLean's Ales, Georgian Bay Gin, Georgian Hills Wines and Coffin Ridge Wines.
The tours will end at the Bear Estate where guests will enjoy a 4 course dinner, live auction and dancing to the sounds of the one and only "Too Nice". The emphasis on the night is to introduce guests to local spirits, food and music.
"Last year's event was sold out, and the reviews were sensational. This was THE original brewery tour of the area and while we can't guarantee the weather, we can guarantee a first class great event that will leave you with a smile on your face, knowing that you have helped raise money for a great cause," exclaims event volunteer, Sherry Rioux.
