The Board of Directors of the Georgian Bay Club Foundation (“the GBC Foundation”) is pleased to announce that the GBC Foundation has donated $60,000 to the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital Foundation for their New Age of Care Campaign.  The foundation also donated $20,000 to the South Georgian Bay Campus of Georgian College.  Both donations were made at a cheque presentation ceremony held at The Georgian Bay Club on Sunday October 2, 2011.

The GBC Foundation is a charitable organization comprised of the Members of the Georgian Bay Club. The GBC Foundation’s vision is to support and enhance the health and well-being of our community.   Since the GBC Foundation was established eight years ago, it has donated a total of $718,000 to local hospital foundations and charities.  These donations are made possible through the generosity of all those involved in our Annual Golf Event.

The Georgian Bay Club Foundation’s 8th Annual Golf Event was held on Friday August 12, 2011. The Board would like to thank our Corporate Event Sponsor PACE Credit Union and our Dinner Sponsor CGOV Asset Management for their generous ongoing support.  Thanks also to The Georgian Bay Club for donating the golf course and carts, and to everyone who generously contributed to the Silent and Live Auctions and to our many Hole Sponsors.  The Board also acknowledges the generosity and tremendous support from The Georgian Bay Club Members and their friends who attended the event.
Our 9th Annual Golf Tournament, Dinner & Auction Event will be held at the Club on Friday, August 17, 2012.
