A cold front will sweep through Southern Ontario this afternoon and
evening.  As the cold front passes, brief bursts of heavy snow and
blowing snow may be associated, reducing visibilities to a few
hundred metres or less.

Additionally, after the front passes, temperatures will fall

Overnight and early morning temperatures are expected
to be in the minus 15 to minus 20 celsius range.  Strong and gusty
northwesterly winds will result in wind chill values of minus 25 to
30, before the temperatures and winds moderate somewhat Tuesday

Further, the cold northwesterly winds passing over the open waters of
the Great Lakes will favour development of snow squall bands.  A snow
squall watch is currently in place for regions to the Lee of Georgian
Bay and Lake Huron.  The watch may be upgraded to a warning in the
coming hours.
