Downtown Collingwood merchants were sitting pretty this spring, filling their storefront windows with chairs decorated by local artists- all for a good cause. Everyone was invited to check out the chairs in the windows and vote for their favourite.
All the chairs were for sale through a silent auction and funds raised through the Sitting Pretty campaign will help upgrade the G&M’s Telemetry Monitoring System. It's a system which allows Intensive Care Nurses to monitor the heart rhythms of cardiac patients outside the Intensive Care Unit.
Some of the participating stores were:
Out on a Whim
Three Peas in a Pod
Christie’s Men, Ladies and Children’s Wear
Three Heron’s Antiques & Home Funishings
Collingwood Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation
Cottage Country Crafts
