Picture friends, families, co-workers and cancer survivors - united together to fight back against cancer. Relay For Life is an amazing community event and important fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society. The Georgian Bay Relay For Life takes places July 18th at Beaver Valley Community School, Thornbury. Teams of any size can take part - from small teams of 4 or 5 to larger teams too. An information night and sign up event is being held Thursday, May 22nd, 5 pm - 7 pm at the Meaford Golf & Country Club. Come out and sign up a team - even if just one or two people sign up to begin with, that is fine. We encourage you to champion the cause and bet once your friends and family see you've made the commitment, they'll want to join you. Cancer survivors are also asked to register on May 22nd. From the newly diagnosed to long-term survivors, Relay brings us all together. Thanks to Century 21 Millennium Inc., our Relay Survivor Sponsors.
Those living in the Collingwood area are most welcome to participate in the Georgian Bay Relay as well. Register online or call Barb McMullen, Event Chair at 519.599.3802.WHAT?
