After high school, Roxann Campbell took a year off to decide what she wanted to do “when she grew up”. Roxann never did figure that out until she found her true passion seven years ago while working in a balloon and party store and realized, growing up was exactly what she didn’t want to do.
While working at the party store, Roxann saw pictures of twisted balloon sculptures in magazines from the balloon
manufacturer, Qualatex. That was it…she fell in love with balloon art and the inflating began.
In 2007, Roxann attended her first World Balloon Convention in Chicago. She participated in several workshops, learning how to twist and create small and large balloon sculptures, using a variety of balloon shapes and sizes. After witnessing jaw dropping displays and competition pieces, Roxann became enthralled and continues to go back to further enhance her skills.
Roxann will be incorporating an online store that brings all your party needs in one place, from food and tableware, to a wide range of party décor and wedding supplies. Basically everything you could possibly need so you can get all your party supplies stress free in one place. Check it out:
Roxann specializes in balloon sculpting, birthday parties, private events, corporate functions, weddings and restaurant work. “Here’s the real neat thing I’ve learned about restaurant work,” says Roxann, “I call it the gopher experience; When I’m twisting, it’s amazing to see how many heads pop up over the booths…I make sure to go over to the adults, even without kids. The adults love it because they don’t want to ask for a balloon but in actual fact, they really want one! They are thrilled when Roxann goes over to their table so they can receive their very own creation, because it’s balloon art….and not your typical balloon sword.”
