Due to current dry conditions Adjala-Tosorontio, Barrie, Bradford West Gwillimbury, Clearview, Collingwood, Essa, Innisfil, New Tecumseth, Oro-Medonte, Penetanguishene, Springwater, Tiny and Wasaga Beach are implementing an Open Air Burning Ban effective July 5, 2012 at 10am. This ban will remain in effect until significant rainfall has occurred throughout Simcoe County.

Public service announcements will be provided if the fire ban is extended or lifted.
