New Orleans, city of mystery, music and history, the cradle of jazz.

Join Theatre Collingwood for a themed dinner-theatre event entitled AN EVENING IN NEW ORLEANS on Saturday October 25, 2008 at the elegant Westin Trillium House, Blue Mountain.

This year, the journey of the imagination¹ wanders the backwaters of Basin Street and Toulouse and Bourbon, the Latin Quarter and Desire with theatrical entertainment featuring a voodoo priestess with the Fig Leaf Jazz Band.

Theatre Collingwood¹s signature fundraiser begins at 6:30pm with a reception and delicious hors d¹ouvres, followed by a gourmet Cajun-inspired meal created by Oliver & Bonacini Café and Grill. Taste the tradition of this great city: Whipped Natchez Goat Cheese and Creole Crab Cakes, New Orleans greens, Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya and Mama¹s Apple Pie.

Throughout the evening desirable live and silent auction items will tempt you. From unique one-of-a-kind experiences such as a week at a chateau in France or flight around Georgian Bay to original artwork and cultural tickets, you¹ll be entranced by the voodoo spells.

Best of all, each ticket includes a chance to win a trip for two to New Orleans ($3,000 value). Capacity is limited to 230 and dress is semi-formal.

For all guests, Valet Parking is $5 or parking is available in the underground garage.

Tickets are $125 ($60 tax receipt) and may be purchased by calling the Theatre Collingwood Box Office (705) 445-2200 / toll free 1 (866) 382-2200.

For more information and to preview a list of the auction items (available in early October), visit the website.

Don¹t miss this beguiling one-of-a-kind evening for one night only!
