Mr. Finbow has more than 30 years of public sector experience and is currently employed as the Director of Planning & Building Services with the Town of the Blue Mountains. He and his family have lived in Collingwood since 1995.
Mr. Turner is currently a partner with Mercer (Canada) Limited - leading their Central Canadian Health Care practice. He and his family have been residents of Collingwood since 2002.
Both are members of various professional associations and have been involved with numerous volunteer activities.
Two retiring members, Jeff Shearer (2010 - 2013) and Shelley Wells (2005 - 2013) were thanked by the Board for their hard work, dedication and devotion to the various committees they were involved with.
"Our departing board members have demonstrated exemplarily service, as Ms. Wells was the Board Chair (2010 - 2012) and Mr. Shearer the Chair of the Community Engagement Committee and the initiator of the Health Leadership Luncheon. Their invaluable advice and commitment to our core values helped mold the G&M Hospital of today. We are very grateful to them for their many years of volunteer services," says Shiela Metras, Board Chair.
The remainder of the Board stands for the duration of 2013/14 and includes: Shiela Metras (Board Chair), George Dickson (Vice Chair), Thom Paterson (Treasurer), Ron Anderson, Linda Flemington, Joe Gardhouse, Joe Halos, Brian Hickey, Pam Kinzie, and Rino Stradiotto. Medical staff representatives include, Dr. A. Engell, Acting Chief of Staff, Dr. M. Lisi, President, Medical Staff and Dr. H. Amundson, Vice President, Medical Staff. Hospital representatives include Norah Holder, Vice President Patient Services and CNE, Michael Lacroix, Vice President Corporate Services and CFO, and Linda Davis, Secretary of the Board, President and CEO.
