New Adventures at Blue

Timber Challenge High Ropes

The new Timber Challenge High Ropes course at Blue Mountain is the ultimate aerial adventure. Situated in the heart of the Niagara Escarpment forest, we set the thrill meter to HIGH with this attraction! Guests are suspended on a harness and guide line and are challenged by more than 75 elements including suspension bridges, ladders, cargo nets and zip lines. Features on the Timber Challenge reach 60 feet high and range in difficulty, with 7 different courses at three different progression levels (Green, Blue and Black). For guests daring enough to make it to the Black course, the main element is a 40 foot auto belay drop called True Blue that is sure to push your limits. Timber Challenge is open to guests 10 years of age and older (some conditions apply).

Woodlot Low Ropes

Woodlot Low Ropes provides a fun and exciting aerial challenge for families, friends and kids looking to test their limits. With three progressive courses, featuring 25 different elements 2-20 feet above ground, including suspended logs, beams, ropes, cables and cargo nets, the Woodlot is the perfect activity to get a taste for adventure. The Woodlot is self-guided and guests remain attached to cables at all times on a continuous belay system. Woodlot is open to guests 6 years of age and older (some conditions apply).

Mountaintop Segway Tours

Wind your way through wooded trails a top the Niagara Escarpment on a state of the art 2-wheeled Segway transportation device. This guided off-road tour is a unique way to explore the peak of the mountain, while overlooking the majestic Georgian Bay region and the Blue Mountain Village. Share the adventure with your friends, family or group during your next visit to Blue Mountain. Segway tours are available to guests 16 years of age and older (some conditions apply).

Cascade Putting Course

This scenic, 18-hole, par-67 Putting Course winds along the base of the Smart Alec ski run and will put your putting skills to the test! Featuring a natural limestone backdrop and cascading landscapes, it’s sure to provide lasting memories for all ages. The Cascade Putting Course is more than your average mini-putt, as it resembles a golf course on a smaller scale featuring fairways, bunkers and water features.

These educational sessions are hosted by a professional trainer, who provides a hands-on learning experience.
