The Collingwood Museum is pleased to announce that 4 silent auction items are currently on exhibit at Collingwood's Town Hall, in the north window. The funds raised from the sale of the auction items will be put towards the restoration of a painting by local artist Mary McKay.
Silent auction items include:
- framed photograph of Hurontario Street, c1950
- professionally framed postcard reproduction of the Globe Hotel, later the Mountain View
- professionally framed print of a young girl holding a wooden toy, c1900
- And finally, a book on the history of Collingwood Collegiate Institute.
Bidding is taking place at the Collingwood Museum until December 30th at 3:00pm. The Museum is open to the public between 9:00am and 5:00pm each day this week.
