When referring to the Collingwood Farmers' Market most would associate it with early summer mornings, warm weather, friendly people and fresh local fare. The Collingwood Moonlight Market, an extension of the regular morning event, will offer all the regular food and fun with an evening twist.
Presented in addition to the regular morning market on Saturday, August 30, the evening edition will run from 6 pm to 10 pm in the municipal parking lot at the corner of Pine and Second streets. Patrons will have the opportunity to buy dinner, shop and be entertained all surrounded by twinkle lights and lanterns. Food vendors are challenged to make their best recipe using only local ingredients - Feast Food Truck be serving up their delicious Georgian Bay Whitefish tacos and Santini's Ristorante will be sourcing all local vegetables for their creations.
In addition to the Collingwood born boys from Jackson Way, rockabilly group The Greasemarks will be making their debut from 8 pm to 10 pm. Poodle skirts and greased-up hair are optional, but dancing is a must! Remember to look up - The Stilt Guys will also be on site in their best glow-in-the-dark attire.
Children will enjoy the lantern decorating activity while parents shop through the diverse range of products our vendors have to offer. From clothing to candles, veggies to baked goods - there is definitely something for everyone!
Bring the whole family and enjoy the Collingwood Moonlight Market on this Labour Day Holiday weekend! We're naturally appealing!
