The verdict - very impressive, delicious, crispy and light batter, fish is firm, flakey and flavourful – worth breaking your diet for. We tested both the Pickerel and the Cod. TK didn’t just stumble into Fish and Chips, he did some serious research and taste testing leading up to this and there are some trade secrets involved which we can’t divulge. The wealth of experience and talent that TK has in the kitchen has contributed to his success. He’s been serving the Georgian Triangle area for over 12 years and won numerous awards for his expert catering services.
Located at 316 Hume Street there is ample parking to zip in and out quickly while you’re on the run. You can zip in and grab lunch and at the same time pick up a fresh or frozen entrée to take home for dinner.
Established in 2000, Tim Knorr launched TK‘s Kitchen & Catering after being in partnership with a family catering business for five years. Tim studied culinary arts at Georgian College receiving his Red Seal Chef’s papers. He then went on to work in the food service industry in Toronto, Niagara Falls, St. Catharine’s & Windsor.
In 2009, Tim opened his kitchen located at 316 Hume Street, Collingwood, Ontario, to create a new home for his catering business and to satisfy the retail demand for his distinctive cuisine. Fish & Chips is available for take away only and pricing starts at starting at $6.00 plus HST for Alaska White Fish (4oz.) with Hand-cut Fries. Upgrade to Haddock for $9.00 (6oz.) or Pickerel $13.00 (8oz.). An extra piece of fish is $6.00.
