The Greater Collingwood Small Business Enterprise Centre will be offering workshops that will provide support to new and existing small businesses. These workshops are well worth the $10.00 admission fee.
The first workshop will be held on January 30, 2008 and it is entitled “The Small Business Report Card.” Each participant will do a self-assessment on his or her own business. This workshop presents a 100-point checklist that asks participants to look into important areas of their own business.
A popular workshop as it offers something for every business and at every stage of business growth. It will be held at 97 Hurontario Street, Braniff Room on the 2nd Floor at the Town Hall in Collingwood from 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm.
The second workshop is on February 13, 2008 and deals with Time Management. “Too Many Hats: Beyond Time Management for Entrepreneurs!” is about managing ourselves and lives more effectively. This is a fun, comprehensive and complete look at life or work time and task management with an emphasis on common sense approaches to typical time / task management challenges...directed to the demanding but rewarding lifestyle of the entrepreneur. This workshop will be held at 25 Second, Collingwood from 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm.
The next workshop will take place on March 19, 2008 and will deal directly with Marketing. “Marketing for Small Business Made Easy” will focus on how you can build your customer base, develop new business leads and really determine the success of your current advertising efforts. Effective and innovative marketing attracts new customers and reminds existing customers of your desire to build a business relationship. It will be held at 97 Hurontario Street, McIntosh Room on the 2nd Floor at the Town Hall in Collingwood from 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm.
