Eggsmart Restaurant Hosts "Get Cracking for Kids' Sake"

Come out and support great kids in your own community while enjoying a scrumptious meal at the Collingwood Eggsmart Eatery. Join owners Kevin and Treena Deehan as they host an all-day fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of The Georgian Triangle (BBBSGT).

"Get Cracking for Kids' Sake takes place on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 6 AM to 3 PM at the Collingwood location on 115 First Street. The official kick off is at 6 AM"

"Eggsmart has a whole new take on breakfast! Our restaurant offers casual family dining while providing the perfect ambiance for enjoying a delicious twist on the classic breakfast, brunch, or lunch and all at an affordable price. Giving back to great organizations like BBBSGT is something that we are passionate about," said owner Kevin Deehan. "With support from corporate partners like us, BBBSGT can offer kids great programs like Kids, Cops and Communities, the Homework Club, Boys Club, Go Girls, the Recess Program as well as the traditional in-school mentoring and the one on one mentorship program."

The agency serves over 360 children and youth in the 5 municipalities of the Georgian Triangle - Clearview Township, Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Town of Blue Mountains and Meaford. BBBSGT receives minimal government funding, so without generous support from the community, it would be difficult to help the kids who desperately need their services. Programs are free and supported by donations from the public, corporations, private and public foundations, service clubs and grants. So “get cracking” and join us, for kids’ sake, on May 4th for a great time.
