Meet the famers who grow our food and taste creations featuring local food prepared by the finest chefs from around the region at the Third Annual Savour Simcoe.  The theme is “Celebrating our Heritage – Agriculture & Regional Cuisine”! The event takes place at the Simcoe County Museum - 1151 Highway 26, Minesing,  from 1-5pm.  Tickets are $55.00 per person - includes all food and beverage tastings. August in the Georgian Triangle boasts some pretty great sights, sounds and tastes.  The Peak to Shore Music & Art Festival takes place from August 20th to the 22nd!   Featuring 6 Stages, 16 extraordinary bands, dozens of artists and art demonstrations in 3 spectacular destinations from the Village at Blue Mountain to the Historic Harbour Towns of Collingwood and Thornbury. Don’t miss the Copper Kettle Festival in Creemore on August 28rd.  This is one of our favourite events of the year.  It all starts with a Farmers Market at 8am and from noon on you can check out the beer garden with live music, brewery tours, kids’ activities, the antique car show, wagon rides and much more. Well worth the drive to Creemore and lots of fun for the whole family!  You can spend an hour or the day and be very satisfied that you made the effort to check it out!
