There is a barbeque dinner served from 4:30-6:30pm with entertainment by local artists, "Franalee".  There will also be a silent auction, door prizes and 50/50 draws throughout the day.  The Cost is $45.00 per player, including dinner or $180.00/foursome.
"The mission of My Friend's House is to reduce the occurrence of domestic violence by changing societal values and norms that perpetuate or support the abuse of women and by contributing to the safety of women and their children in the Georgian Triangle through;

• The provision of a safe, physical and emotional environment through short-term housing.
• The delivery of counseling, advocacy, and crisis intervention services.
• Community education and awareness-raising initiatives."
My Friend's House has been providing these services for nearly 20 years because of the generous involvement of community and friends.  We assist 600+ women every year.  Every day a teenaged, middle aged or elderly woman escaping domestic violence calls our Crisis Line or requests emergency housing or trauma counseling.
"Your donation, awareness and help can end the vicious cycle of hurting."  For more information please call 705-444-2586 ext 21 or register on line.
