Cranberry Mews - a retail centre on Hwy. #26 in the west end of Collingwood, is now open. The centre will be home to a unique combination of businesses ranging from healthcare and quality of life services to retailers catering to essential needs.
Both Collingwood Sports Medicine and Rehabilitative Centre, and Dr. Henry Koo (who specializes in knee and hip replacement), have relocated to the centre and other tenants who have signed leases and are in various stages of moving in include:

• Active Life Conditioning Training Centre – Sarah Applegarth
• Natural Food & Juice Bar – Jacqueline Graham
• Hasty Market – Convenience Store with bakery & deli – Mario Gagliardi
• Ladies Designer Fashion store – Kathy MacDonald
• Home Zone Bed Bath & more – Kathy MacDonald

There are also three additional healthcare professionals that will be setting up practice, bringing the occupancy of the new centre close to 50 percent.
“This is one of the most unique retail spaces you will find anywhere in cottage country,” observes Peter Lush of Lush Realty. “In my years as a realtor, this is one of the very best locations I’ve come across and certainly one of the best that has opened in the Southern Georgian Bay.”

He attributes the quality of the location to a few different factors – its high visibility, with over 18,000 vehicles passing the centre every day, together with the quality of the construction and overall design of the centre.

By virtue of its location in Cranberry Village, Cranberry Mews will also provide a tremendous amount of convenience to those occupying some 3,000 resort and retirement homes -- all within walking distance of the centre.

Lush says that because of its high visibility, the easy road access and walk-in convenience, it’s no surprise that the centre is attracting so many healthcare and quality of life professionals. “Many of these businesses are attracted by the fact that customers won’t have a hard time finding parking or parking close to the entrance so they can get in and out with a minimum of fuss and bother. In fact, it’s even more accessible than the big box stores on the west end, where a lot of times you have to park a fair distance from the entrance,” observes Lush.

Cranberry Mews is operated by Foremost Financial Corporation,  a Toronto-based real estate lender and financier with over 20 years of operating experience. Businesses interested in leasing space in Cranberry Mews should contact Lush Realty at 1-705-444-7653 or 1-800-265-3949 or email
