The Collingwood Labyrinth will provide a spot for quiet reflection, natural recharging and calming recreation. At 67 feet in diameter, the Collingwood Labyrinth will be based on the 800 year old labyrinth in Chartres Cathedral in France one of the most famous in the world. The Committee has already raised almost $60,000 towards the construction and installation of the Labyrinth, but the money from the Aviva Community Fund would mean the Labyrinth could be completed in spring of 2015.
The first round of voting has begun, and lasts only two weeks. Every vote counts to ensure that the Collingwood Labyrinth project can advance to the next round.
Each user can cast 15 votes during each of the qualifying rounds. You can only vote for each idea once per day, but you can vote every day for 15 days.

The Collingwood Labyrinth committee was founded by Collingwood resident George Christie. This volunteer committee has set out to raise the funds necessary for project completion through donations and sponsorship. The 11-circuit design is based on an 800-year-old stone floor labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral in France. The Collingwood Labyrinth will be approximately 67 feet in diameter and fully accessible. It is intended to be a scenic and peaceful extension to the Arboretum in Harbourview Park. We invite you to "Stroll For Your Soul".
