|A visit to Grill and Greens Eatery in Thornbury turned us on to a pretty neat way of serving up dessert – one recipe with many options. Jean, shows us how to make the cheesecake step by step and also gives us some great suggestions for presentation and maximum dessert enjoyment just in time for the holidays. This recipe is a snap and a great way to impress your dinner guests, or your spouse or yourself.|
BASIC RECIPE FOR CHEESECAKE
1 ½ cups crumbs (graham, Oreo, or ground nuts as a gluten free option)
4 250 gram packages of cream cheese
Once again the toppings can only be limited by you. I suggest crème fraiche which is easy to make, simply add 1 tablespoon of brown sugar to 1 cup of sour cream.
