This quaint little eatery in Wasaga Beach caught our eye and we popped in for a visit. We were delighted to find that we could order a cappuccino and on reading the menu we found that they offered a lot of gluten free options.
Last Friday we had a fish and chips dinner that was delicious and shared an amazing homemade Belgian waffle topped with strawberries, ice cream and caramel sauce for dessert.
Beach 3 Eatery is a casual 32 seat diner that is a little bit more upscale than your typical diner. Open daily (except Tuesdays) from 9am to 3pm on weekdays and from 9am-9pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday you can order a traditional breakfast - we recommend the poached eggs, or you can choose from a variety of gluten free items. Every single thing in this restaurant is made from scratch - important to know, especially if you've got some dietary specific challenges.
The owners Natasha and John operate another restaurant in Lagoon City during the summer months and John moonlights at Blue Mountain Resorts as a snow groomer.
Chef Natasha started working in the food service industry at the age of 14 through a co-op placement in high school and in grades 11 and 12 took hospitality courses. She went on to further her culinary education and took culinary management and administration plus some entrepreneurial courses and during her time at Candore College she had the exciting opportunity to cook for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip while they were on a tour of Canada.
