The Blue Mountain Village Foundation is pleased to announce that The Bob Comish Memorial Bursary will be given to each of 4 graduating students from local high schools who have worked on the Resort property.  Although the cheques will be given to the students at their graduation ceremonies, the students will gather in the village for breakfast courtesy of Sunset Grill on June 26th, 2015 at 9 am with a group photo to be taken at 10 am in the Blue Mountain Village in front of Sunset Grill. Audrey Zink, Derek Jansen, Kale Swinwood-Sky and  Kyla Wills will each receive $1,000 from Foundation board members; Bruce Melhuish, Troy Speck and Stacy Manning.

"The Foundation initiated a new selection process for the Bob Comish Memorial Bursary and we are thrilled with the calibre of the successful candidates," says  Stacy Manning Vice President of the Foundation. "We chose to support graduating students who have worked on the resort property and are continuing their education as it exemplifies our efforts to support local youth striving to complete their education."

The Blue Mountain Village Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in our local communities through its financial support of registered charitable organizations whose activities provide benefit to the residents of our local communities, with an emphasis on children and family programs.  In addition, the Foundation awards 5 Bob Comish Memorial Bursaries to 4 local high school students and a student from Georgian College, who have worked on the resort property. Information about filing applications for funding and bursaries can be obtained at the Foundation website.
