You can celebrate Thanksgiving at The Olde' Town Terrace Restaurant with your family and leave all of the work to Sandie and Ray. For only $28.99 you can enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving feast. I’ve had my share of Thanksgiving dinner disasters including the time the turkey exploded (literally exploded…what a mess) and the time that the dish I was cooking the turkey in shattered in the oven with the turkey on it and I won’t even go into detail about the stuffing disaster….Dan gives that episode enough air time as it is. So The Olde Town Terrace definitely has my vote!
We are blessed in this area with a fine array of specialty food shops that are all ready to help you make your Thanksgiving dinner a success. I think that’s been part of my problem to start with…I always try and do everything myself and something somewhere in my kitchen turns into a bit of a disaster (is there such a thing as a bit of a disaster? I think not). Click here to find a great list of Specialty Food Shops in our area and if you’re looking for a fabulous cheese tray click here to read about The Cheese Gallery in Thornbury.
If you enjoy fabulous fashion and excellent customer service, don’t miss Christie’s Fall Open House on Thursday, October 25th 2012. Fashion show and light refreshments from 6pm- 9pm at 93 Hurontario Street, Collingwood, Phone 705.445.2761 to RSVP email firstname.lastname@example.org. Ten percent of sales that evening will be donated to the United Way of South Georgian Bay.
Don’t forget to support our local Apple Farmers and stop by a roadside farm market and pick up a peck. What’s a peck you ask? Ask a Farmer while you’re buying your apples…they’ll be more than happy to explain it all to you including which apples are best for eating or baking.
